Shopping words name the steps of a purchase: 打折 (give a discount), 试 (try on), 付钱 (pay), 结账 (settle the bill), 退货 (return goods) and 收据 (receipt). The verb and the object form a fixed pair.
खरीदारी के शब्द ख़रीद के चरण बताते हैं: 打折 (छूट देना), 试 (पहनकर देखना), 付钱 (पैसे देना), 结账 (बिल चुकाना), 退货 (सामान लौटाना) और 收据 (रसीद)। क्रिया और कर्म की स्थिर जोड़ी बनती है।
这件衣服正在打折。 This piece of clothing is on sale. 我可以试一下吗？ May I try it on? 请给我一张收据。 Please give me a receipt. 如果大小不合适，可以退货。 If the size does not fit, you can return it.

At the counter the shop assistant asks 您怎么付款？ (how will you pay?). You answer 我用手机付 (I will pay by phone). After paying, keep the 收据 in case you need to 退货 later.
काउंटर पर दुकानदार पूछता है 您怎么付款? (आप भुगतान कैसे करेंगे?)। आप कहते हैं 我用手机付 (मैं फ़ोन से भुगतान करूँगा)। भुगतान के बाद 收据 रखिए, ताकि बाद में 退货 कर सकें।
Learners write 这个衣服很打折. 打折 is a verb phrase, so say 这件衣服正在打折. Use 便宜 for a low price and 打折 for a discount event. Also 试衣服 is to try on clothes, while 试一下 is the short general form.
शिक्षार्थी 这个衣服很打折 लिखते हैं। 打折 क्रिया-वाक्यांश है, इसलिए 这件衣服正在打折 कहिए। कम कीमत के लिए 便宜 और छूट के अवसर के लिए 打折 प्रयोग कीजिए। 试衣服 कपड़े पहनकर देखना है, जबकि 试一下 छोटा सामान्य रूप है।
Learn each shopping verb with its object: 买衣服, 试鞋子, 付现金, 退商品. A verb that does not fit the object is the most common wrong option in a collocation question.
हर खरीदारी क्रिया को उसके कर्म के साथ सीखिए: 买衣服, 试鞋子, 付现金, 退商品। जो क्रिया कर्म से मेल नहीं खाती, वही संयोजन प्रश्न में सबसे सामान्य ग़लत विकल्प होती है।
