Characters & Radicals HSK3
Stroke order follows a few fixed rules: top before bottom, left before right, horizontal before vertical, and outside before inside. Following the rules keeps characters balanced and legible.

Write from top to bottom and from left to right. A horizontal stroke comes before a vertical one: 十 is horizontal then vertical. A left-falling stroke comes before a right-falling one: 人 is 撇 then 捺. Outside comes before inside, and the closing stroke comes last: 国.
ऊपर से नीचे और बाएँ से दाएँ लिखिए। आड़ी रेखा खड़ी से पहले आती है: 十 में पहले आड़ी, फिर खड़ी। बाईं ओर झुकी रेखा दाईं ओर झुकी से पहले आती है: 人 में पहले 撇, फिर 捺। बाहर अंदर से पहले आता है, और बंद करने वाली रेखा सबसे अंत में: 国।
十: horizontal, vertical. 人: left-falling, right-falling. 小: vertical hook, left dot, right dot. 国: outer frame, 玉 inside, then the bottom line closes it. 这: 文 first, then 辶.
十: आड़ी, खड़ी। 人: बाईं झुकी, दाईं झुकी। 小: खड़ी हुक, बायाँ बिंदु, दायाँ बिंदु। 国: बाहरी ढाँचा, अंदर 玉, फिर नीचे की रेखा उसे बंद करती है। 这: पहले 文, फिर 辶।
The commonest error is closing an enclosure too early: in 国 the bottom line must wait until 玉 is complete. Another is writing 口 as one stroke; it takes three. Learners also reverse the two strokes of 人.
सबसे आम ग़लती बंद ढाँचे को जल्दी बंद करना है: 国 में नीचे की रेखा 玉 पूरा होने तक नहीं आती। दूसरी ग़लती 口 को एक रेखा में लिखना है; उसमें तीन रेखाएँ लगती हैं। शिक्षार्थी 人 की दोनों रेखाओं का क्रम भी उलट देते हैं।
Say the stroke names aloud while writing: 横, 竖, 撇, 捺, 点, 折. For a new character, copy it three times slowly and check the order before writing it fast.
लिखते समय रेखाओं के नाम बोलिए: 横, 竖, 撇, 捺, 点, 折। नए अक्षर को तीन बार धीरे-धीरे लिखिए और तेज़ लिखने से पहले क्रम जाँचिए।
HSK 3 does not ask for stroke order by name, but correct order makes handwritten answers readable and helps you count strokes in character-difference items.
HSK 3 में रेखा-क्रम का नाम पूछा नहीं जाता, पर सही क्रम हस्तलिखित उत्तर को स्पष्ट बनाता है और अक्षर-भेद वाले प्रश्नों में रेखाएँ गिनने में सहायता करता है।

पिनयिन को हान्ज़ी में लिखिए: guo2
