Before the audio starts, read the options and predict the topic. During the audio, listen for names, numbers, places and the connective that carries the logic, such as 但是, 所以 and 其实.
ऑडियो शुरू होने से पहले विकल्प पढ़िए और विषय का अनुमान लगाइए। सुनते समय नाम, संख्या, स्थान और तर्क बताने वाले संयोजक सुनिए, जैसे 但是, 所以 और 其实।
If the options are 在车站, 在机场, 在银行 and 在学校, the question is about place. If they are 因为堵车, 因为生病, 因为下雨 and 因为加班, the question is about reason.
यदि विकल्प 在车站, 在机场, 在银行 और 在学校 हैं, तो प्रश्न स्थान का है। यदि वे 因为堵车, 因为生病, 因为下雨 और 因为加班 हैं, तो प्रश्न कारण का है।
Announcements, phone calls and short lectures use the same cues. The speaker often corrects an earlier plan, so the last mention is usually the answer.
घोषणाएँ, फोन कॉल और छोटे भाषण इन्हीं संकेतों का प्रयोग करते हैं। वक्ता अक्सर पहले की योजना सुधारता है, इसलिए अंतिम उल्लेख सामान्यतः उत्तर होता है।
Do not translate every word; you will miss the next sentence. Do not choose an option just because you heard one word from it. Watch for 但是, 不过 and 其实, which reverse the first idea.
हर शब्द का अनुवाद न कीजिए; अगला वाक्य छूट जाएगा। केवल एक शब्द सुनकर विकल्प न चुनिए। 但是, 不过 और 其实 पर ध्यान दीजिए, जो पहली बात को पलट देते हैं।
Use simple symbols for time, place and number, and leave a blank rather than stopping. Practise with one-minute clips and review only the items you missed.

Each listening item plays once. If an answer is unclear, mark the best option and move on; a later item is worth the same marks.
