HSK 6 writing asks you to read a passage and then write a summary of about 400 characters in ten minutes, keeping the main plot and the central idea and dropping the details.

Read the passage once for the story and once for the idea. In the summary keep who did what and why it mattered. Drop dialogue, repeated description and minor characters. Aim for 400 characters, not the full story.
अनुच्छेद को एक बार कहानी के लिए और एक बार भाव के लिए पढ़िए। सार में यह रखिए कि किसने क्या किया और वह क्यों महत्वपूर्ण था। संवाद, दोहराया विवरण और गौण पात्र छोड़ दीजिए। 400 अक्षरों का लक्ष्य रखिए, पूरी कहानी का नहीं।
Jot three lines: 谁、做了什么、结果怎样. Then write: 这篇文章讲的是…… 起初…… 后来…… 最后…… This frame keeps the summary moving and stops you copying sentences from the passage.
तीन पंक्तियाँ लिखिए: 谁、做了什么、结果怎样। फिर लिखिए: 这篇文章讲的是…… 起初…… 后来…… 最后…… यह रचना सार को आगे बढ़ाती रहती है और अनुच्छेद के वाक्य नकल करने से रोकती है।
Learners copy the original sentences, which is neither a summary nor their own writing. The marker rewards your own wording, so put the passage away before you write and rebuild the story in fresh sentences.
शिक्षार्थी मूल वाक्य नकल कर लेते हैं, जो न सार है न उनका स्वयं का लेखन। जाँचकर्ता आपके अपने शब्दों को अंक देता है, इसलिए लिखने से पहले अनुच्छेद हटा दीजिए और कहानी नए वाक्यों में गढ़िए।
Use two minutes to read and note the plot, six minutes to write four hundred characters, and two minutes to check 标点, 错别字 and whether the idea is stated. A clear, complete summary beats a long, unfinished one.
दो मिनट अनुच्छेद पढ़ने और कथा लिखने में, छह मिनट चार सौ अक्षर लिखने में, और दो मिनट 标点, 错别字 तथा केंद्रीय भाव जाँचने में लगाइए। स्पष्ट और पूरा सार लम्बे पर अपूर्ण सार से बेहतर है।
