Words & Measure Words HSK5
Functional prepositions such as 对于, 关于, 由于, 为了 and 根据 link a noun phrase to the rest of the sentence and mark its role: topic, cause, purpose or basis. HSK 5 tests them in reading and cloze because each one selects a different relation.

The pattern is preposition + noun phrase, placed before the predicate or at the head of the sentence: 对于这个问题，我们有不同看法。 关于考试时间，通知上写得很清楚。 由于下雨，比赛推迟了。 为了提高效率，公司换了新系统。 根据调查，多数人支持这个计划。 Each preposition fixes the relation, so swapping them changes the meaning.
ढाँचा है: संबंधसूचक शब्द + संज्ञा-पद, जो क्रिया-पद से पहले या वाक्य के आरंभ में आता है: 对于这个问题，我们有不同看法। 关于考试时间，通知上写得很清楚। 由于下雨，比赛推迟了। 为了提高效率，公司换了新系统। 根据调查，多数人支持这个计划। हर शब्द संबंध तय करता है, इसलिए बदलने पर अर्थ भी बदल जाता है।
对于孩子来说，睡眠很重要。 关于这件事，我不想多说。 由于交通堵塞，他迟到了半小时。 为了通过考试，她每天复习到很晚。 根据天气预报，明天会下雪。 随着经济的发展，人们的生活水平提高了。 至于费用问题，我们以后再谈。
बच्चों के लिए नींद बहुत महत्वपूर्ण है। इस बात पर मैं ज़्यादा नहीं कहना चाहता। यातायात जाम के कारण वह आधे घंटे देर से पहुँचा। परीक्षा पास करने के लिए वह रोज़ देर तक दोहराती है। मौसम पूर्वानुमान के अनुसार कल बर्फ गिरेगी। आर्थिक विकास के साथ लोगों का जीवन-स्तर बढ़ा है। जहाँ तक खर्च का प्रश्न है, हम बाद में बात करेंगे।
News reports prefer 根据, 随着 and 由于; opinion pieces use 对于 and 关于; 至于 marks a shift to a new topic. In speech the same meanings are often carried by 因为, 对 and 关于, but the written forms raise the register.
समाचारों में 根据, 随着 और 由于 अधिक आते हैं; विचार-लेखों में 对于 और 关于; 至于 नए विषय पर जाने का संकेत देता है। बोलचाल में यही अर्थ प्रायः 因为, 对 और 关于 से दिए जाते हैं, पर लिखित रूप भाषा को औपचारिक बनाते हैं।
关于 introduces a topic and can modify a noun with 的: 关于考试的通知. 对于 introduces the person or thing affected and cannot be used as an attributive in the same way. 由于 is written and cannot be paired with 因为 in the same clause. 为了 is followed by a purpose, not a subject: 为了提高水平 is right, 为了我提高水平 is wrong.
关于 विषय बताता है और 的 के साथ संज्ञा का विशेषण बन सकता है: 关于考试的通知। 对于 उस व्यक्ति या वस्तु को बताता है जिस पर प्रभाव पड़ता है और इस तरह विशेषण नहीं बनता। 由于 लिखित भाषा का शब्द है और एक ही उपवाक्य में 因为 के साथ नहीं आता। 为了 के बाद उद्देश्य आता है, कर्ता नहीं: 为了提高水平 सही है, 为了我提高水平 ग़लत है।
Learn each preposition with two fixed phrases, for example 由于天气, 关于这个问题, 根据规定, 为了提高效率. When reading, underline the noun after the preposition and ask what role it plays. In writing, prefer one precise preposition to a long clause with 因为 or 如果.
हर संबंधसूचक शब्द को दो स्थिर वाक्यांशों के साथ याद कीजिए, जैसे 由于天气, 关于这个问题, 根据规定, 为了提高效率। पढ़ते समय संबंधसूचक शब्द के बाद आने वाली संज्ञा को रेखांकित कीजिए और पूछिए कि उसकी भूमिका क्या है। लिखते समय 因为 या 如果 वाले लंबे उपवाक्य के बजाय एक सटीक संबंधसूचक शब्द चुनिए।
HSK 5 cloze items often remove one preposition from a formal sentence. Check the noun after the gap: a cause needs 由于, a purpose needs 为了, a source needs 根据, and a topic needs 关于 or 对于. The reading section may also ask what 至于 signals.
HSK 5 के रिक्त-स्थान प्रश्न औपचारिक वाक्य से एक संबंधसूचक शब्द हटा देते हैं। रिक्त स्थान के बाद की संज्ञा देखिए: कारण के लिए 由于, उद्देश्य के लिए 为了, स्रोत के लिए 根据 और विषय के लिए 关于 या 对于 चाहिए। पठन भाग 至于 के संकेत के बारे में भी पूछ सकता है।

अनुवाद कीजिए: 为了提高效率，公司换了新系统।
Answer: In order to improve efficiency, the company changed to a new system.
💡 为了 引出目的，表示公司换系统的目标。
Q2. “随着经济的发展，人们的生活水平提高了”中的“随着”表示伴随变化。
“随着经济的发展，人们的生活水平提高了” में 随着 साथ-साथ होने वाले बदलाव को दर्शाता है।
Answer: 正确
💡 随着 表示一个变化伴随另一个变化发生。
