Sentence Patterns HSK1
是 shi4 links two nouns and means "to be". The order is A + 是 + B. It is used to say who or what something is, not to describe how it is.
Sentence Patterns — Word order, 是/有, questions, negation and the 把/被/了/过/着 patterns.
我是学生 (I am a student). 他是老师 (he is a teacher). 她是我的朋友 (she is my friend). 这是书 (this is a book). The two nouns on either side of 是 are the same kind of thing.
我是学生 (मैं विद्यार्थी हूँ)। 他是老师 (वह अध्यापक है)। 她是我的朋友 (वह मेरी सहेली है)। 这是书 (यह पुस्तक है)। 是 के दोनों ओर एक ही प्रकार की संज्ञा होती है।
是 says what something IS: 他是医生 (he is a doctor). It does not describe: to say "I am well" you write 我很好, with 很, not 我是好.
是 बताता है कि कोई क्या है: 他是医生 (वह चिकित्सक है)। यह विवरण नहीं देता: "मैं ठीक हूँ" के लिए 我很好 लिखिए, 很 के साथ, 我是好 नहीं।
Learners copy English "I am fine" and write 我是好。 Mandarin adjectives already contain "to be", so the correct form is 我很好。 The 是 there would be wrong.
शिक्षार्थी अंग्रेज़ी "I am fine" की नकल करके 我是好 लिखते हैं। मंदारिन विशेषण में "होना" पहले से है, इसलिए सही रूप 我很好 है। वहाँ 是 ग़लत होगा।

HSK 1 asks you to complete 他 ___ 老师。 The answer 是 is only correct because both sides are nouns. Read both sides before you choose.
HSK 1 में 他 ___ 老师। पूरा करने को कहा जाता है। उत्तर 是 इसलिए सही है क्योंकि दोनों ओर संज्ञा है। चुनने से पहले दोनों ओर पढ़िए।
