Words & Measure Words — Everyday vocabulary and the measure word (量词) every noun takes.
A phone has a 屏幕 (screen), a 电池 (battery) and 信号 (signal). An 应用 is an app, and 网络 is the network. These nouns often appear with 下载 (download), 上传 (upload) and 安装 (install).
फ़ोन में 屏幕 (स्क्रीन), 电池 (बैटरी) और 信号 (सिग्नल) होते हैं। 应用 एक ऐप है और 网络 नेटवर्क है। ये संज्ञाएँ प्रायः 下载 (डाउनलोड), 上传 (अपलोड) और 安装 (इंस्टॉल) के साथ आती हैं।
我下载了一个新应用。 I downloaded a new app. 请把照片上传到电脑上。 Please upload the photos to the computer. 这里信号不好。 The signal here is poor. 我的手机没电了。 My phone is out of battery.
我下载了一个新应用। मैंने एक नया ऐप डाउनलोड किया। 请把照片上传到电脑上। कृपया तस्वीरें कंप्यूटर पर अपलोड कीजिए। 这里信号不好। यहाँ सिग्नल कमज़ोर है। 我的手机没电了। मेरे फ़ोन की बैटरी ख़त्म हो गई है।
When a page will not open, say 网络断了 (the network is down). When an app is slow, say 这个应用太慢了. In a repair shop you may hear 电池坏了 (the battery is broken) or 屏幕碎了 (the screen is cracked).
जब कोई पृष्ठ न खुले तो कहिए 网络断了 (नेटवर्क टूट गया)। जब ऐप धीमा हो तो कहिए 这个应用太慢了। मरम्मत की दुकान में आप 电池坏了 (बैटरी ख़राब है) या 屏幕碎了 (स्क्रीन टूट गई) सुन सकते हैं।
Learners use 上网 for every phone action. 上网 means going online, not opening an app. To open an app say 打开应用. When the network works but reception is weak, say 信号不好, not 网络不好.
शिक्षार्थी हर फ़ोन-कार्य के लिए 上网 का प्रयोग करते हैं। 上网 का अर्थ ऑनलाइन जाना है, ऐप खोलना नहीं। ऐप खोलने के लिए 打开应用 कहिए। जब नेटवर्क चालू हो पर पकड़ कमज़ोर हो, तो 信号不好 कहिए, 网络不好 नहीं।
Learn the words in opposite pairs: 下载 and 上传, 打开 and 关闭, 有电 and 没电. Say each pair in one short sentence, because the exam often offers the opposite action as a wrong option.
शब्दों को विपरीत युग्मों में सीखिए: 下载 और 上传, 打开 और 关闭, 有电 और 没电। हर युग्म को एक छोटे वाक्य में कहिए, क्योंकि परीक्षा प्रायः विपरीत कार्य को ग़लत विकल्प बनाती है।
HSK 4 reading often places 下载, 上传 and 安装 in a short notice about an app. The question asks what the reader should do first, so match each verb to the correct step.
HSK 4 पठन में 下载, 上传 और 安装 प्रायः किसी ऐप की छोटी सूचना में आते हैं। प्रश्न पूछता है कि पाठक पहले क्या करे, इसलिए हर क्रिया को सही चरण से मिलाइए।
Q1. 把 “我的手机没电了。” 译成英语。
“我的手机没电了।” का अंग्रेज़ी अनुवाद कीजिए।
Answer: My phone is out of battery.
💡 没电了 表示电池已经用完。
Q2. 这里____不好，电话打不出去。填一个词。
यहाँ ____ ठीक नहीं है, फ़ोन नहीं लगता। एक शब्द भरिए।
Answer: 信号
💡 信号 指手机收到的网络强弱。
Q3. “下载” 是把手机里的文件放到网上。
“下载” का अर्थ फ़ोन की फ़ाइल को इंटरनेट पर डालना है - सही या ग़लत?
Answer: ग़लत
