Words & Measure Words HSK6
HSK 6 reading is full of words that almost never appear in speech: 若干, 予以, 鉴于, 事宜. They raise the register of a text, and the exam expects you to know their plain-language equivalent.
Words & Measure Words — Everyday vocabulary and the measure word (量词) every noun takes.
若干 means 一些, 予以 means 给, 鉴于 means 考虑到, 事宜 means 事情. In a notice these formal words are correct; in a chat with a friend they sound strange. Match the word to the situation.

Learners write 鉴于我今天很累，我要睡觉了 to a friend. The grammar is fine, but 鉴于 belongs in a document. Using a formal word in casual speech sounds like a legal notice, and the exam marks it as unsuitable.
शिक्षार्थी मित्र को 鉴于我今天很累，我要睡觉了 लिखते हैं। व्याकरण ठीक है, पर 鉴于 दस्तावेज़ में आता है। बोलचाल में औपचारिक शब्द कानूनी सूचना जैसा लगता है, और परीक्षा उसे अनुपयुक्त मानती है।
Keep two columns: 知道 beside 获悉, 给 beside 予以, 事情 beside 事宜. Reading HSK 6 passages becomes locating a known meaning rather than guessing at an unfamiliar character.
