HSK listening tests numbers, prices, dates, clock times and durations. Catch the number together with its unit, and listen for a correction in the second half.
Reading & Listening — The two receptive skills the HSK tests, with short graded texts.
Listen for the number and its unit as one piece: 三点 san1dian3 (three o clock), 三小时 san1xiao3shi2 (three hours), 三百块 san1bai3kuai4 (three hundred yuan). The unit tells you what the number measures.
संख्या और इकाई को एक टुकड़े की तरह सुनिए: 三点 san1dian3 (तीन बजे), 三小时 san1xiao3shi2 (तीन घंटे), 三百块 san1bai3kuai4 (तीन सौ युआन)। इकाई बताती है कि संख्या क्या माप रही है।
七点一刻 qi1dian3yi1ke4 (quarter past seven), 八点半 ba1dian3ban4 (half past eight), 上午 shang4wu3 (morning), 下午 xia4wu3 (afternoon), 三月五号 san1yue4wu3hao4 (March fifth).
七点一刻 qi1dian3yi1ke4 (सात बजकर पंद्रह मिनट), 八点半 ba1dian3ban4 (साढ़े आठ), 上午 shang4wu3 (सुबह), 下午 xia4wu3 (दोपहर), 三月五号 san1yue4wu3hao4 (पाँच मार्च)।
A ticket may cost 二百五十块 (250 yuan), and a train may leave at 九点四十 (9:40). Write the digits as you hear them, then check the unit before you answer.
टिकट का दाम 二百五十块 (250 युआन) हो सकता है और रेलगाड़ी 九点四十 (9:40) पर छूट सकती है। सुनते ही अंक लिखिए, फिर उत्तर देने से पहले इकाई जाँचिए।
Speakers often correct themselves: 不是三点，是三点半 (not three, half past three). The second number is the answer. Do not stop listening after the first figure.
वक्ता प्रायः खुद को सुधारते हैं: 不是三点，是三点半 (तीन नहीं, साढ़े तीन)। दूसरी संख्या उत्तर है। पहला अंक सुनकर सुनना बंद न कीजिए।
Practise pairs aloud: 两点 and 两点半, 十块 and 十块五, 三天 and 三个月. The unit changes the meaning more than the number does.
जोड़े ज़ोर से बोलिए: 两点 और 两点半, 十块 और 十块五, 三天 और 三个月। अर्थ संख्या से अधिक इकाई से बदलता है।
HSK 3 listening asks for a time, price or date in a short dialogue. Wrong options usually repeat a number with the wrong unit.
HSK 3 श्रवण में छोटे संवाद में समय, कीमत या तारीख पूछी जाती है। ग़लत विकल्प प्रायः सही संख्या के साथ ग़लत इकाई दोहराते हैं।

💡 钟点用 数字 + 点，半点 前只放数字，不加 点。
