Sentence Patterns HSK2
一 … 就 … links two actions that follow each other immediately: 我一回家就睡觉 (as soon as I get home, I sleep). 一 introduces the first act, 就 the second.
Sentence Patterns — Word order, 是/有, questions, negation and the 把/被/了/过/着 patterns.
The first verb follows 一; 就 comes before the second verb. 他一到就打电话。 As soon as he arrives, he calls. The two acts share the same subject.
पहली क्रिया 一 के बाद आती है; 就 दूसरी क्रिया से पहले। 他一到就打电话। जैसे ही वह पहुँचता है, फ़ोन करता है। दोनों कार्यों का कर्ता एक ही है।
我一回家就吃饭。 As soon as I get home, I eat. 他一考试就紧张。 As soon as he takes an exam, he gets nervous. 我一看见他就笑。 As soon as I see him, I laugh.
我一回家就吃饭। जैसे ही घर पहुँचता हूँ, भोजन करता हूँ। 他一考试就紧张। जैसे ही परीक्षा होती है, वह घबरा जाता है। 我一看见他就笑। जैसे ही उसे देखता हूँ, हँस पड़ता हूँ।
Learners write 我就回家一睡觉. 一 must start the first action and 就 must sit before the second: 我一回家就睡觉。
शिक्षार्थी 我就回家一睡觉 लिखते हैं। 一 पहले कार्य को आरम्भ करे और 就 दूसरे से पहले रहे: 我一回家就睡觉।
A habit in 一…就… is a single thought in Mandarin: get-home → sleep. Say the two verbs back to back and drop them into the frame.
一…就… में आदत एक ही विचार होती है: घर-पहुँचना → सोना। दोनों क्रियाएँ साथ बोलिए और रचना में डाल दीजिए।
HSK 2 reading uses 一…就… to describe quick reactions. The second verb is always the one after 就.
HSK 2 पठन तेज़ प्रतिक्रियाओं के लिए 一…就… रखता है। दूसरी क्रिया सदा 就 के बाद वाली होती है।
Q1. Translate "As soon as I get home, I sleep." into Mandarin.
