越来越 yue4 lai2 yue4 before an adjective means more and more: 天气越来越热 the weather is getting hotter and hotter.
Sentence Patterns — Word order, 是/有, questions, negation and the 把/被/了/过/着 patterns.
The frame shows a gradual change: 城市越来越大 The city is getting bigger and bigger. Only an adjective or a verb of change follows; a plain noun does not.

天气越来越热। मौसम और अधिक गर्म हो रहा है। 他的汉语越来越好। उसकी चीनी और अधिक अच्छी हो रही है। 路上的车越来越多। सड़क पर गाड़ियाँ अधिक से अधिक हो रही हैं।
Use 越来越 for prices, traffic, weather and progress: 房子越来越贵, 天气越来越冷. It is the natural way to describe a trend over time.

Learners write 天气越来越很热. 越来越 already means a growing degree, so 很 must not follow it. 天气越来越热 is correct.
