Sentence Patterns HSK5
之所以 puts the outcome first and 是因为 explains the cause behind it. The pair is common in explanations, reports and argumentative writing where the writer wants the result to stand in front.
Sentence Patterns — Word order, 是/有, questions, negation and the 把/被/了/过/着 patterns.
Frame: subject + 之所以 + outcome，是因为 + reason. 他之所以迟到，是因为路上堵车。 The outcome stands in front and the reason closes the sentence, the reverse of the usual English order.
ढाँचा: कर्ता + 之所以 + परिणाम，是因为 + कारण। 他之所以迟到，是因为路上堵车। परिणाम आगे रहता है और कारण वाक्य को बंद करता है, जो अंग्रेज़ी के सामान्य क्रम का उलटा है।
他之所以成功，是因为他非常努力。 我之所以没去，是因为我生病了。 这本书之所以受欢迎，是因为内容很实用。 天气之所以变冷，是因为冷空气来了。
他之所以成功，是因为他非常努力। वह इसलिए सफल हुआ क्योंकि उसने बहुत मेहनत की। 我之所以没去，是因为我生病了। मैं इसलिए नहीं गया क्योंकि मैं बीमार था। 这本书之所以受欢迎，是因为内容很实用। यह पुस्तक इसलिए लोकप्रिय है क्योंकि इसकी सामग्री बहुत उपयोगी है। 天气之所以变冷，是因为冷空气来了। मौसम इसलिए ठंडा हुआ क्योंकि ठंडी हवा आ गई।
In a report a writer states the result and then justifies it: 这次考试之所以难，是因为阅读部分生词很多。 In a class a teacher asks 为什么 and the student answers with the same pair. The pattern keeps the focus on the outcome.
रिपोर्ट में लेखक पहले परिणाम बताता है और फिर उसे सही ठहराता है: 这次考试之所以难，是因为阅读部分生词很多। कक्षा में शिक्षक 为什么 पूछता है और विद्यार्थी इसी जोड़े से उत्तर देता है। यह प्रतिरूप ध्यान परिणाम पर बनाए रखता है।
Learners often write 我之所以没去，所以我生病了, mixing the pair with 因为…所以. The correct partner is 是因为. The outcome must come first: 我之所以没去，是因为我生病了。 Reversing the two halves breaks the pattern.
शिक्षार्थी प्रायः 我之所以没去，所以我生病了 लिखते हैं, जिससे यह जोड़ा 因为…所以 के साथ मिल जाता है। सही साथी 是因为 है। परिणाम पहले आना चाहिए: 我之所以没去，是因为我生病了। दोनों भाग उलटने से प्रतिरूप टूट जाता है।
When someone asks 为什么, answer with the whole pair as one unit: 他之所以这样，是因为... Rehearse the frame aloud so the cause half arrives without hesitation.
जब कोई 为什么 पूछे, तो पूरे जोड़े को एक इकाई की तरह उत्तर दीजिए: 他之所以这样，是因为... ढाँचे को बोलकर दोहराइए ताकि कारण वाला भाग बिना रुके आ जाए।
HSK 5 reading often asks 他为什么... or 原因是什么. The answer usually sits after 是因为. Scan for 之所以 to find the outcome and for 是因为 to find the cause the question wants.
HSK 5 पठन प्रायः 他为什么... या 原因是什么 पूछता है। उत्तर प्रायः 是因为 के बाद होता है। 之所以 ढूँढकर परिणाम और 是因为 ढूँढकर वह कारण खोजिए जो प्रश्न चाहता है।
Q1. “我之所以没去，所以我生病了。” 是正确的句子。
“我之所以没去，所以我生病了।” सही वाक्य है, यह सही है या ग़लत?
Answer: ग़लत
💡 之所以 要和 是因为 搭配，不能用 所以。
Q2. 把 “He did not come because he was ill.” 译成汉语。
“He did not come because he was ill.” का चीनी में अनुवाद कीजिए।
Answer: 他没来，是因为他病了
💡 汉语用 是因为 说明原因。
Q3. 填两个字：我之所以没去，___我生病了。
