只有 marks a necessary condition and 才 the result: without the condition the result cannot happen.
Sentence Patterns — Word order, 是/有, questions, negation and the 把/被/了/过/着 patterns.
只有 + condition, subject + 才 + result: 只有多练习，才能说好汉语。 才 goes before the verb, after the subject.
只有 + शर्त, कर्ता + 才 + परिणाम: 只有多练习，才能说好汉语। 才 क्रिया से पहले, कर्ता के बाद आता है।
只有你道歉，他才会原谅你。 只有努力，才能成功。 只有星期天，我才有时间。 只有理解语法，才能写对句子。
只有你道歉，他才会原谅你। केवल तुम्हारे क्षमा माँगने पर ही वह तुम्हें क्षमा करेगा। 只有努力，才能成功। केवल मेहनत से ही सफलता मिलती है। 只有星期天，我才有时间। केवल रविवार को ही मेरे पास समय होता है। 只有理解语法，才能写对句子। व्याकरण समझने पर ही वाक्य सही लिखा जा सकता है।
State requirements: 只有买票，才能进去。 只有每天练习，才能进步。
आवश्यकता बताइए: 只有买票，才能进去। 只有每天练习，才能进步।
Do not use 就 after 只有: 只有努力，就能成功 is wrong; say 才能成功. Do not replace 只有 with 只要 when the meaning is only if.
只有 के बाद 就 न लगाइए: 只有努力，就能成功 ग़लत है; 才能成功 कहिए। जब अर्थ "केवल तभी" हो तो 只有 के स्थान पर 只要 न लगाइए।
Use 只有...才 for the one necessary key and 只要...就 for an easy sufficient condition. Read the second marker first; it decides the pair.
एक आवश्यक कुंजी के लिए 只有...才 और आसान पर्याप्त शर्त के लिए 只要...就 लगाइए। पहले दूसरा चिह्न पढ़िए; वही जोड़ी तय करता है।
HSK 3 tests 只有...才 in reading and cloze. The presence of 才 in the second half is the strongest signal for 只有.
HSK 3 पठन और cloze में 只有...才 पूछता है। दूसरे भाग में 才 का होना 只有 के लिए सबसे मज़बूत संकेत है।
Q1. 把 “Only by working hard can you succeed.” 译成中文。
"Only by working hard can you succeed." का चीनी अनुवाद कीजिए।
Answer: 只有努力，才能成功
💡 只有 引出必要条件，才 引出结果，不能用 就。
Q2. “只有...才...” 表示必要条件。
“只有...才...” आवश्यक शर्त बताता है - सही या ग़लत?
Answer: सही
