Sentence Patterns HSK4
至于 means as for or as to. It introduces a new topic after another topic has just been discussed, and it often starts a new sentence.
Sentence Patterns — Word order, 是/有, questions, negation and the 把/被/了/过/着 patterns.
至于 moves the listener to a second topic: 我们决定去北京。至于上海，以后再说。 We have decided to go to Beijing. As for Shanghai, we will talk about it later. It stands at the start of the new sentence and is followed by a comma.
至于 श्रोता को दूसरे विषय की ओर ले जाता है: 我们决定去北京。至于上海，以后再说। हमने बीजिंग जाने का निर्णय लिया। जहाँ तक शंघाई का सवाल है, बाद में बात करेंगे। यह नए वाक्य के आरंभ में आता है और उसके बाद अल्पविराम लगता है।
这个我懂。至于那个问题，我不太清楚。 I understand this. As for that question, I am not very clear. 他很喜欢音乐。至于运动，他从来不参加。 He likes music. As for sports, he never takes part.

至于 appears when a report settles one point and leaves another: 价格可以商量。至于时间，我们明天再定。 The price can be discussed. As for the time, we will decide tomorrow. It is common in meetings and news.
至于 तब आता है जब कोई बात तय होकर दूसरी बाकी रह जाए: 价格可以商量。至于时间，我们明天再定। मूल्य पर बात हो सकती है। जहाँ तक समय का सवाल है, हम कल तय करेंगे। यह बैठकों और समाचारों में सामान्य है।
Learners use 至于 for 关于. 关于 means about or regarding one topic: 关于这个问题 about this question. 至于 changes to a different topic. 至于 also cannot stand at the end of a sentence.
शिक्षार्थी 至于 को 关于 के स्थान पर प्रयोग करते हैं। 关于 का अर्थ किसी एक विषय के बारे में है: 关于这个问题 इस प्रश्न के बारे में। 至于 दूसरे विषय पर ले जाता है। 至于 वाक्य के अंत में भी नहीं आ सकता।
Use 至于 only when you leave one topic for another. If you stay on the same topic, use 关于 or no marker at all. Read the sentence before 至于 as finished, then say the new topic.
至于 केवल तब लगाइए जब एक विषय छोड़कर दूसरे पर जाएँ। यदि विषय वही रहे तो 关于 या कोई चिह्न न लगाएँ। 至于 से पहले का वाक्य पूरा मानिए, फिर नया विषय कहिए।
HSK 4 reading may ask what 至于 introduces. The answer is the second topic, the one raised after the first has been settled.
HSK 4 पठन पूछ सकता है कि 至于 क्या सामने लाता है। उत्तर वह दूसरा विषय होता है, जो पहले के तय होने के बाद उठाया जाता है।
